1. Decorate a tree in public. In a park, on a street, outside your workplace, places you would least expect it.(在任何公共空间,比如公园、街道、非工作区,总之是那些你平时最不会去关注的地方,找那么一棵树,把它装扮成圣诞树。)
2. Leave tiny anonymous gifts with notes that say “something for you”.(留下匿名小礼物,附上写有“这是给你的特别礼物”的小纸条)
3. Put fortunes written on paper into people’s pockets when you go to parties.(参加聚会,把写有祝福的小纸条悄悄放进人们的口袋)
4. Write letters telling people you admire them and that you’re greatful for their existence.(写信给人们,告诉他们你很欣赏他们,你感激上天让这个世界有像他们那样的人存在)
5. Buy a tree for someone else.(为某个人买棵树)
6. Write peaceful quotes in public places with chalk.(用粉笔在公共场所写让人心情平静的话)
7. Guerilla carolling…Sing x-mas carols on people answering machines.
8. Plant some bulbs in pots, place them in locations that could use some life.(种小型盆栽,把它们放在能让它们释放生命力的地方)
9. If you live in a snowy climate write large notes in the snow on people’s front lawns (when they are out). If you live in a warm climate you can hang greetings in the trees.
10. Make a treasure map of the best x-mas lights in your town. Hand it out so people can do a tour.
Take a favorie photo, have it copied and enlarged, then cut it into a puzzle. Put all the pieces in a small box, with a copy of the orginial pasted to the top.(找出一张喜欢的照片,将它放大,然后把它像拼图板那样剪开,放到盒子里,在盒顶贴上照片的原始图片,把它作为礼物送给别人)
One of my favorite ones is to put a hot cup of coffee or cocoa and fresh out of the oven cookies on a plate for the mailman if I happen to have it all happening at the right time.
This may sound trite, but wear a smile when you go out. A smile is a pretty inexpensive gift, and it’s amazing how quickly one’s mood can change when someone smiles at you.(对每一个人微笑。
Angel on the doorstep…make some cookies, put some in a cute little package, put them on the doorstep of your neighbor’s house, ring the bell…
i live in the midwest, and my favorite thing is to build random snowpeople in public places. a person has to be a real scrooge to not crack a smile when they see a random public snowman!(在公共场所堆雪人。
